California Privacy Notice
Effective date: July 13, 2026
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. It also serves as our Notice at Collection. Terms defined in the CCPA/CPRA have the same meaning here.
Categories collected, sources, purposes, recipients (last 12 months)
Sources for all categories: you directly (questionnaire and communications) and your device/browser (automatic collection).
Business/commercial purposes for all categories: providing the comparison-and-matching Service, communicating with you, marketing measurement, fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance.

Retention: see Privacy Policy Section 5; we retain each category only as long as needed to service your request, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a Right to Limit under the CPRA. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
"Sale" and "sharing"
Because BorrowForward receives compensation from partners when we connect you with them, and because we use advertising/analytics technologies, our disclosure of the categories marked above constitutes a "sale" and/or "sharing" under the CPRA. You may opt out at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
Your California rights
Know/Access · Delete · Correct · Portability · Opt out of sale/sharing · Limit use of sensitive personal information (not currently applicable — we use it only for permitted purposes) · Non-discrimination for exercising any right.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request at /privacy-request or by email to contact@borrowforward.com. We verify your identity consistent with the CPRA before responding; response within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days with notice). Opt-out requests are processed within 15 business days. You may use an authorized agent (proof of authority and identity verification may be required). We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing for that browser.
